Iexploer error message

Sometime when im on the net, a sudden internet explorer error message comes up and it says something about closing. Then another box comes up that says "SEnd error report" or something.
Does this mean its a virus. ?
Wat can i do to stop it

Shouldn't be a virus. That is the computer wanting to send an error report to Microsoft.
You can go ahead and let it send the report if you want to. Some problems have solutions that will come back to you after it sends the report. Just give it a minute or two.
Or you could check the event logs to see if there is a specific error code attached with the shutdown.
I'm not sure where the error reporting is in 98. Somewhere in the Services under Admin Tools? Just disable it if you want to.
