IEXPLORE caused an ivalid page fault in module USER.EXE at 00le:oooo166c

Can anybody out there help me fix this problem? I have been on google for answers but no luck so far

 

Would be useful if you told us when this occoured and the circumstances in which it occours, and any other details about the problem. Is it SP2? SP1? Is it even Windows XP?

 

It happens when I type in another web address I have windows 98

 

I have run a virus scan........I ran my spyware scan............I ran my no adware scan.........Still having the same problem even after trying a fix posted on google regaurding this matter

In other words :

Go to Add/Remove Programs and select IE. It will give you the option to Repair. Select that option.

If you're still having the problem, then we will help you further.

I tired that and the only option I have is to remove it........There is nothing about doing a repair

 

Ok I tried that and I was able to type in a web address twice before I got the same error message.......HHHMMM
