iexplore.exe.mdmp??????????

Hello there..Not sure if this is the right section to post.

I have had some problems with my computer over the last couple of months. It involves getting an error that basically involves iexplore.exe.mdmp. Here is the last one.

C:\DOCUME~1\J\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERc142.dir00\iexplore.exe.mdmp
C:\DOCUME~1\J\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERc142.dir00\appcompat.txt

I looked online and have found all kinds of advice for fixing this, but all of it may as well be in binary or ancient Greek

something i found is it could be related to an add-on? you can check your add-ons for internet explorer, and maybe turn them off to see if you still get the error?

another tip would be to check for malware
