My IExplorer won't change size. When I click on the Icon a drop window shows up and I click on a larger size and nothing happens. Any ideas?

If I get your correctly Ron, when you initially click IE it opens in a minimized size?

if so then open IE, dont use the maximize icon to make the window bigger but use the drag arrows to make the window full screen, then hold down the CRTL key and click the [X] in the IE window and further opening of the windows should be full screen.

Do only have one IE window open when doing this and mainly the one you've dragged larger.

if I have this wrong then please elaborate a little more, so I can understand... as you know not looking at the same screen as you are its hard to understand what your seeing :)

No. Page opens fine. I just want the size of the print, etc. to be larger. I click on the AA icon on the toolbar and then, no matter which size I click on, nothing happens. I hope I'm clearer this time.

    Ah gotcha now Ron,

    Which version IE you using?

but try this in the IE menus click View > Text Size and set larger than meduim which is the default size.

also if your mouse has a wheel you can hold CRTL key down and move the mouse wheel back and forward to change text size.

note: not all webpages support the changing of text size.

Well, I just clicked on Back to another site and it was working there. Let's see what happens as I try it on other sites - will let you know.

If you goto the http://www.majorgeeks.com/ page can you alter the size using the AA icon or my two options?

Which WWW page will the size not change on?

Edit: typing while you posted... yes the text size change doesnt work sadly on all websites.

You can also go to (in IE) tools/internet options/accessibility and check the box that says "ignore font sizes specified on web pages". This can give you larger font than what the page was designed for, but just keep in mind there may be some distortion in the text after you exceed the designed font size. From there, just use Control/mouse wheel to change size. I like it.

Thanks, Crazy Legs. That worked fine. Always nice to know that one can get good info from the Major Geeks.
