My Norton Internet Security has gotten so bad that I have been needing to turn it off at times just to utilize the internet. Norton has slowed down my computer and has caused other problems. I've talked with Norton technical people and they have been no help. Norton no longer works and its time we walk the walk.

This thread is for those who (i) presently use Norton Internet Security (NIS), Norton AntiVirus, and/or Norton AntiSpam, (ii) would like to utilitize a different Internet Security, a different AntiVirus, and/or different AntiSpan, and (iii) would like to completely remove Norton from their computer. Read How to Protect yourself from malware! Then, please add your comments below, including Internet Security alternatives, antivirus alternatives, and antispam alternatives. Also, please indicate how to completely remove Norton from a computer. Thank you.

Don't know why you created this thread thai_american. Norton is well known as a clumsy AV around MG, not many of us use it. As for removing it maybe CCleaner would help. Uninstall anything that has the word "symantec" and then scan for reg issues and fix them.
