Illustrator Problem

When using Illustrator, our artist here at the paper can save the first time but cannot save to the same location afterwards. She can save as to another location...What's the deal?

 

first off this belongs in the software forum. Is she trying to "save as" to the same location, or is she trying to "save" to the same location?

First off, excuse me for crossing the nebulous gray area between hard and soft ware, which is somehow strangely inhabited by firmware!
Secondly, as far as I can see one always "Saves" to the same location, thus creating the need for "Save As"
