I'm a contractor who used to make $ like a rock star, but have tanked in the new economy. So, this winter I studied SEO stuff, Internet video publishing and am creating a blog using Word Press(another just learned). My question is: did I make a mistake building my blog site in a sub directory of our main contractor site? Because now Google has reported me as an attack page and is warning away all potential clients with a giant, blood-red screen. I have 2 baby girls and am barely clinging to our house. I am financially desperate to get this resolved as our site generates clients and revenues. So, I found the "Bad ware" code listed twice in Google's webmaster tools. I copied it and finally located the actual 2 occurrences on my site(s) through C Panel. I saved a backup of both pages on my PC and deleted the "Bad ware" hoping for the best. Then back to Webmaster (not me) Tools to humbly request Google inspect my site and lift their nasty, red attack page off of my grocery money. Ironically, both occurrences of the "Bad ware" were code that deals with Google Analytics! ...one occurrence on my current site, the other within the sub directory where my nearly completed Blog resides. So, my question finally is: Did I create a problem with my build a blog in a sub directory of my main site idea? Did the bots freak out when they discovered 2 Google Analytics scripts with the same ID#on 2 different sites all on one domain? I would sure appreciate any feedback as I am way over my head here. Thank you!

Do you mean one Google website profile ID for two sites with two URL's?

If I am looking at the same thing you are I would expect trouble. I have several sites with me / my Google account as the owner but each with a separate Google website profile, therefore each with its own Google Analytics ID.

My guess is to register each URL separately, but within your own Google login.
