I'm afraid to change screen resolution

Using Vista, I found that only one of the day's appointments would show on Windows Live Calendar. The tech emailed the suggestion to change the screen resolution. But if I do that, won't it change everything about the appearance of every screen? That scares me. Please advise. Thanks.

Tell us what is the size of your monitor, and what is your current resolution.

The resolution is 1200x800; the laptop screen is 13 inches wide.

    It's a normal resolution.I don't see the reason to decrease resolution.:confused

Changing your resolution to a lower resolution then back to a higher one is pretty harmless. give it a try, might get windows to redraw the calendar to show more days :)

I'm obviously ill-informed on such matters, but there seems to be plenty of room in each day's box of the calendar for three or four lines of information. But only one line, or at the most two, are being shown. Perhaps this is between me and the Windows Live Calendar people. I want to use an online calendar so I can access it from both my laptop and my desktop computers.
