As in paid? Sometimes you do, but I did it for free mostly.

I had thought about asking Universal Extras to remove me, because they'll text me job alerts sometimes. Only if I apply, they never get back to me. In fact, I have never had any paid work in media. I always did it of my own accord.

My profile is still active. I paid the listing fee to be informed of roles for up to 2 years, but I never update it. I only apply for parts where the shoot will take place in my city.

Paying for professional headshots and so on is too costly. But they probably just looked at my DBS pages. They previously told me that wasn't an issue. So I don't know if it's that or whether they fuss over who is selected.

Who knows?
