I have been AFK for quiet some time now - Just been very busy!

Welcome back, not sure if I know you but hey lol

I'm doing good, new job is ok, paying the bills, weather has been 28C+ all week and my car is still running.... how have you been?

 

I've been good thanks, water cooled my pc in a new case, changed my motherboard as I killed mine, got a front splitter for the Volvo which is getting painted and I can't wait to get it on!
Just been busy and not able to get on the forum due to work and spending time with the misses.

 

Well, peace and quiet going out the window.:-D

Out of curiosity,how did you kill your motherboard? :innocent

 

My PSU popped and took the motherboard with it.
Luckerly in taking the motherboard it saved my ram and CPU
I ordered a P5Q-Pro Turbo to replace it.

 

Ouch! I killed mine by not noticing when the pump to CPU watercooler went out. Apparently running an E6850 without any cooling at all makes it die horribly... and kills the socket underneath it as well. On the plus side, I got to upgrade my processor.

Really, it's a gas to see you hanging around again.

@JOTS they locked down the place I work so we where safe. RIP to those that were not as fortunate.

@Hrlow2, I live in Cumbria, in Workington and I work very very close to Whitehaven where the shooter Derrick Bird started his killing spree of 12 people and injuring 25.

 

How the H did I miss hearing about that?

 

No idea it's been in the papers all and all over the news.

Good Grief, Capt! :eek First I heard anything about it too. Glad you are OK, and yes, R.I.P. to those that were not as fortunate. Sounds just horrifying too. :cry

 

It was only a few weeks after a big school bus crash in the area as well, 2 school children died along with others. In fact it was the girls funeral the day of this gunman. And only months before that we had the huge floods.
Cumbria is not having the best of times at the moment.
