I think the performance would outweigh the inconvenience! Don't worry, you won't have to pay for shipping! :D

It's probably an "interactive handrail" to give you something to do with your hands and to keep your balance keeping your neck cocked at that weird angle watching the monitor LOL :D

Sorta like going to see those 360* movies at Disney World :D

    You're all wrong.:p

Wheels like that are used to open and close valves. In order to cool the 4.77MHz processor which is overclocked to a whopping 4.78MHz, a large flow of coolant will be required. Of course, the CPU operates more efficiently at a certain temperature, which means you have to constantly watch the gauge and vary the coolant flow as necessary.:D

Actually, the wheels are for the dive planes. That's a control panel for a submarine... or the latest and greatest add on for the computer game Sub Commander.

indeed, it's a photoshopped picture some CEO (I think Sun's) was making fun off at some convention, not knowing it's a fake

You guys are all wrong!!! Obviously the wheel isn't a wheel, its a rail for you to hold on to when the "home computer" starts up. With all that rattling and shaking, you would flopping all around, so this is just too hold on to. :D

  19. jarcher

    jarcher I can't handle a title

    two wheels
    one for up and down
and one for left and right

but I think its not for a mouse

there are alot of pressure guages
    perhaps a cooling thing?
maybe its to control the ink to the word processor!!

but I think that it was just to make it look more convincing for the convention they where at!!

so now we are gonna play Navy. . .
I'll be the captain (if its ok)
thats the same as a General in every other service
    (for those who don't know)

ok, you can buy me one, but save on the shipping, because we don't have to room, and you'll have to keep it there..........from what I remember....looking at the photos of your place, I probly have a little bit more room then you guys, but, still don't have the room for one of those...........thanks for thinking of me......wobbles

Sure you can be the captain. :)

Of course, the captain answers to the admiral, which is actually equivalent to a General. :D

But not to worry. Admirals are either ashore or in charge of a fleet, or at least a battle group, and he does NOT control the ship he's on directly. Plus, the admiral's flagship will not be a sub, so you'll be in sole command of your ship.

Besides, Eric promised me two of them, so we can both be captains. Screw the admiral. ;)
