    Ok, i have a home computer and use the internet alot. My dad has a laptop and would like to get online, we both want to have it wireless. Problem is i have no idea of how to do it or what i would need.

    My modem is a crappy USB modem, I dont have a network card.

    I have bought;

    Linksys Wireless G Acess point WAP54G
    A PCMCIA card for the laptop(i know thats right)
    Wireless G PCI Adapter
    A USB to RJ45 adapter
    and a female to female USB adapter.

    What i'm going to try to do is use my usb modem, plug that into the F-to-F adapter, plug the USB to RJ45 into that, and then run the RJ45 to the wireless access point. Then install the PCI adapter into my home computer and hopefully have it work.

    Will this work?
    Are these the right parts?
    Do i need anything else?
