I'm Mad

I started school on Monday. I found out that morning that my school will no longer have a Cisco class. I was so pissed!!!!

My school offers a a special diploma for Tech sussessful students. You have to meet certain requirements, by attending so many classes in certain computer areas. The only 2 i needed was Cisco1 and Cisco2!!! Now they dont have it because the demmand is not high enough. WTF 17 students signed up and the Min was 20 students!!!!!!

Thy offer this brand new diploma for students and now we cant even get it beacuse Cisco is gone!!!!! But they still have the diploma?

Im also disopointed because after i take the 2 years of Cisco i can become certified. I was looking forward to that too!

Well im sad and im going to finish my Calculus homework. I hate having to get up at 5am, so i have to get some serious sleep too.

Night School at a Community College. If there is one available that offers the courses you need, talk to your guidance councilor and make the arrangements. I am sure they are flexible with situations such as this and will help you meet your goals.

How about starting up a petition? Or contact the school newspaper, they may not want the "bad press" if they run a couple of articles...blah, probably won't work, but just an idea.

 

I feel sorry for you: I liked my Cisco classes as well.
Got my Cisco CCNA 1&2. (Then I dropped out of school because I flunked programming.)

You can still take Cisco classes elsewhere I suppose....

 

if you can get three students to sign up, go talk to the dean of that deptment, that your have the 20 students........after the class starts, three or four classes, your friends can then drop the class, and get their money back, and you'll have a smaller class..........wobbles

Right now there is really nothing i can do here at school. They already fired the teacher, and wont be reinstating the class.

Im going to look around at some colleges and see what they offer. MY school lets me earn up to 4 outside credits so that will be just enough to get both years of cisco in.
