I'm putting an old hard drive into a computer with no hard drive.

    my uncle gave me this computer so i took the hard drive out of it with out even turning it on or doing anything to it. and than i put it in my computer that doesn't have a hard drive. every time i turn it on it goes straight to the command prompt. how do i get it to work?8/:confused

    You should reinstall your Operating System on the 'new' hard drive.
