We have a 2Tb HD connected to Belkin N600DB router. As of today, I have that HD showing fine on my PC, with all functions just like regular directly connected HD.

WE, also, have a Mac desktop and Imac laptop. Both are on wireless and on both, wireless works great with new router (it has 5GHz option).

USB HD shows and works fine on Mac desktop. Nothing special was done to make that happen, it simply works.

Same HD does not show at all on Mac laptop. Not a sign of it.

Anyone has any idea how to fix this? Laptop has 1.06 Mac OS. Entire adventure was started to make that HD wirelessly available on that laptop.

we got it working, credit to emailing Belkin support.

    - Open Safari.
    - Type “smb://192.168.2.1” in the Address Bar and hit enter (return).
    - Now Operating system will prompt you for User name and Password (Login username and Password for that user of OS).
    - Type the Username and Password and click Connect.
    - In the window that pops up, click on "Belkin N +" towards the left of the screen.
    - You would find your drive. Click on the drive to see the data of the drive.
    - Click on "Disconnect" to disconnect from the drive.

we did not have to even go as far as typing "belkin" anywhere. Safari recognized and mapped that HD fine, now it simply opens out of Finder. Would have been nice to have shortcut to it, but we can't figure how to do that on Imac.
