Image a drive on 64bit pc

Hi, I recently rebuilt my computer putting in a Athlon XP64 Processor. Once I got it all up and running I wanted to image my Sata drive using either Drive Image or Ghost. I can't seem to do it. I was wondering if it is because of either the processor or the Sata drive. Has anyone any ideas on how I can image the drive???

Thank you for the lead. Having read it I then went to the Acronis download site and read about it. It seems very good but it does not actually state that it is compatable with 64bit or Sata drives. Do you know whether this is ok with these items.

 

When you say 64 bit, are you referring to a 64 bit OS? As in windows xp Pro 64 bit edition? If not, then you shouldn't have any problems.

Hi, thanks for all your help. I downloaded a trial copy of Acronis True Image and have used it with great success. Had no problems at all and it is so easy to use. Went ahead and bought the program. Got a great deal too.. at Amazon.co.uk they had it for just under £16 everywhere else it was $49.99 (approx. £28.00) a big saving. Can't thank you enough for pointing me in the right direction.. thanks peeps. By the way, I did try Windows 64bit edition but had so many problems with drivers that I went back to 32bit. Will wait to see how my 64bit processor responds when they bring out Longhorn!!! If they ever do!!!
