Image Mounting Question

Using Daemon tools i have mounted an image some years ago and has always worked fine.
Yesterday when i click on the icon to start the application i was told to enter its disc.

I then mounted the image again in Daemon tools & this non working icon then worked fine as it should do.

This morning the same thing happened,icon said put in disc,mounted again & now it works fine.

Any reason that you can see for this as i dont wish to mount it every day.

Daemon Tools hasn't been updated since XP days. If you are using Win 10 you can mount images on the right click menu, no other software required. You can probably do the same in Win 7.

 

Thanks i am using Win7,the image is mounted BUT unmounts when pc switched off for the night.

 

ALL images unmount at shutdown, they have to as they are mounted in RAM. Seems that previously yours was being remounted automatically at startup but isn't now. Take a look at settings to see if the option to remount at startup is there but has been deselected somehow. I seriously doubt you will get any responses from Daemon Tools users, the program is just too old.

 

Which version of DAEMON tools are you using?
Strangely enough, the Lite version is the most up to date (January 2018).

Very strange.
I see no icon in system tray.
When i open up the interface i then only seelike,
Mount image
Mount iscsi
Disc burn
Virtiual HDD

I see no pref options at all.

 

I see version 10.8 installer but has ads included

 

The Tray Agent is not included in version 10.0 and 10.1.
Version 10.2 and later includes the Tray Agent.
