Imaging Software for Virtual PC 2007?

I am looking for some disk imaging software that i can backup and restore from within MS Virtual PC 2007. Im trying to get my DIXML imaged copy of Vista Ultimate into VPC 2007. DIXML isnt working from within VPC 2007 but works fine out of VPC 2007. Any recommendations?

 

I don't get the full gist of what your saying, but form the first sentence:

What I do is make a copy of the VM folder for the machine I want to "backup" - backup complete. So if anything happens I just toss the folder and use the copy.

 

So the image program will not run in VPC? What steps are you taking?
Will it not have the same issues as XP, with the hardware changes?
When you load an image of a physical PC into a VM the hardware changes usually deactivate XP.
Another option is to find MS's version of P2V, if they have one - physical to virtual to image the real PC into a VM.
