   is there a good disk image extractor program out there (it has to bee free)
   
   let me say that extractnow didn't work so i am looking some more

   Try ZiPeg for Windows as its will extract your ISOs or IMG files to HD
   
   
   or ImgBurn ( FREE ) ok it burns the ISO/IMG file to disk but use a CD/DVDRW disk and copy contents to HD if needed.

   i used img burn and it can extract the contents just took some really good looking and some time to figure it out
   
   but til then i was using win image
