Immidiate help needed x_x

seems i put a 1 letter PW on my wxp logon; so now i CANT log on...what was the way to bypass the password @ the logon screen so i can fix this problem? please im desperate!

 

Login as Administrator and change the password on the account in question.

 

at the logon administrator doesnt apear; just my account name.

 

tryed that too...gave me the same problem, wasnt there a way; by like holding shift?

 

press Ctrl+alt+delete and it will change the logon to network style, where you can type in "Administrator" to access that account.

Omegamerc. Glad the experts gave you a fix that worked. For what it's worth, lots of passwork cracker shareware will crack a password up to 3 characters long, free of charge. Most passwords are longer than 3 characters any how. Another way you probably could have cracked yours if it was only 1 character would have been to work your way through the keyboard, alpha and numeric, unless you used a special character combo.
