    Hi there,

I noticed last week that none of my users' mails are being delivered or can be sent out externally. After doing some investigation I've noticed that the Default Spam rule is the cause of the problem.

When I disable the rule, the mails can be sent externally and received 100%. Tried creating a new Spam Rule, thinking that in some way this one is broken, but no luck. Rolling back and updating the spam pattern didnt make difference.

I would much appreciate any advise given regarding this problem Im having.

    Thanks,

    Charl

The spam folder located C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\IMSS\temp was missing, create a folder called "spam" in that location, enable rule and stop an start services to activate the rule. This resolves the issue.

make sure offiescan does not scan or delete folders
