In Memoriam


With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week. Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Pokey", died peacefully at age 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started.

 

May he rest in eternal dance.

This is really quite a strange coincidence. My second name is Collins. My mother in law aged 93 passed away on Saturday. :wave She loved to dance. I can almost see her doing the Hokey Cokey.

 

Very funny. :-D Actually he died in 1996 at the age of 83

I'm kidding of course. Thank you though, was really funny.

 

That's what you get paying for your undertaker with cereal box lids :cool

 

At least now he can truly find out if that's what it was all about.
