In need of some registration entries, forced to delete due to virus

Hello, recently I got infected by one of those silly java viruses. This one couldn't do what it wanted but was still forcing a reg change on my policies every boot, even though it had no effect. Eventually I deleted the virus, but the registration entires were still trying to change upon boot, so like an idiot I went and deleted them knowing that they weren't insanely important and I figured xp would automatically fix the entries based on its backup files on hdd. I was wrong.

So now whenever I right click my start bar and try to change the properties the restrictions force it to stay locked.

I would appreciate it very much if someone could give my the reg entries, or even post up a text version of them so I could make my own.

My operating system is windows xp home with sp2 and all current updates. IE6
I am currently in need of all the entries in:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Network
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
--
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Uninstall ?

Theres also some I could be missing above, but those bunch I'm certain I deleted majority of the entries.
Any help would be appreciated.

hello yentsler, Welcome to Major Geeks.

I have uploaded two files, pol1.txt and pol2.txt which are renamed .reg files. these come from a test pc running XP home SP2.

pol1 is from the branch you requested, HKCU, only there is only one entry.

pol2 is from HKLM.

There are also many policy entries scattered throughout, particularly in the classes section.

PM me with an email address if you want the entire registry to play with.
