    from one website. It is my regular social forum, seniorforums.com. They worked until 3 days ago, then just started showing up, but not clickable. The emails I get are notifications to subscribed threads, like you guys have here.

    I ask my admin on the sf forums and he said that it was a gmail issue. I'll just copy the message from him here for you:

    "It's a Gmail problem, maybe Gmail doesn't like our notification emails, but they are not bad enough to be labeled as spam. So Gmail makes the links unclickable so that their users would be more cautious to visit the links. Just my guess.

    Please add our email address (forum@seniorforum.com) to your contacts or whitelist, this will tell Gmail that we are a trusted sender.

    We see more and more bounced emails, nowadays email servers are too sensitive when detecting spam emails."

    I did make sure I added their address to my contacts, I don't know what a whitelist is. It's still not working though, my notifications of threads I subscribed to come to me, but it is a bummer because my links won't hook me up the way they have done for my year of membership.

    Any help appreciated, Denise

    Windows 7

    Have you tried a different browser? I.E. or Chrome for example. It may not be Gmail, the culprit may be Firefox.

    I did try IE, same thing. The links are still blue/purple but no clickable. Thank you for your reply, I am so hoping I find the fix here because so far, I can't find it by googling, and the admin from the site's fix didn't work.

    What security applications are installed(AV/AM/Firewall)?

    Windows Firewall, I don't know what AV or AM is? I use MS Essentials antivirus, Malwarebytes

    After some searching I found a few references to the same problem as your's on some blog sites but no solutions.

    If you highlight the disabled links in the emails and right click do you get something similar to what I have in the attached thumbnail?

    AV = Antivirus, MS Essentials in your case.
    AM = Antimalware, MalwareBytes.

    Yes, right click gives me a menu and it opens to the right page on the forum. Or, if I copy and paste the link it works that way. I can't figure out why links in other emails work, one other forum I belong to is called goodreads.com. Those notifies come through as active links, and Majorgeeks links do fine as well, just the one site.

    I think the admin/owner of the site may be right, as I mentioned what he said above in "red"? but he doesn't seem to know the solution.

    I want to thank you for your attention, I've had to be away from my computer quite a bit, but I sure wasn't purposely ignoring your help. I will be back more tomorrow. Maybe I will see you again, thank you again, Denise
