Incomprehensible Error Message

I keep getting an error message (cf. attached image) on my PC. I have no idea to which software it is referring. In the top right hand corner of the message is a 'X' which you would click on to close it; however, it will not close. I have tried opening Task Manager to see if that can tell me what it is. That does not work. Even though I cannot close the error message by clicking on the 'X', as soon as I do anything else, try to open Task Manager or to open any app, or to open a file, etc. it simply goes away. It is also intermittent. Some days I get it several times and then I got it this evening for the first time in over a week.

I have scanned my PC using the following applications. In each case I used the current version and the databases are up-to-date. Of the ones in the following list I only have Comodo providing real time protection. They are COMODO Internet Security Premium, Malwarebytes ANTI-MALWARE and SUPERAntiSpyware. They all reported no threats were found.

I would like to know what can be the cause of this error message. If no one recognises it I would appreciate ideas on how I could find out what it is. It would be good to know how to solve this issue.

Your error message consists of a blank white rectangle.
You click the above jpg and you'll see what I mean. There is nothing showing.

You need to take a screenshot of such a message again (using +alt+prt scr so ONLY that window shows) and then you need to look at the resulting image yourself first before attaching it here, so the message does actually show.

    Hi Mark

as others have mentioned need the actual message, if a screenshot does not capture the message ok, then take a photo of the screen and message.
What I would try is running http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/microsoft_process_explorer.html and leave it running and when you get that error see if Process Explorer highlights a file as the error should be linked to an app or DLL and that will be inn the process tree.
