..increasing use of available bandwidth..

..currently the LAN system goes: ethernet socket to signal decoder? box, 1m copper; decoder ? to transmitter/receiver, 5m copper; trans/rec to tower, 300m infr-red, tower to main tower, about 150k across the bay

..they say i've got 100Mbs, i get average 35KBs d/l, and around same u/l, the sys mngr tells me i'm running at under 1% of possible, that i should be on 5% at least. There are times when mine is the only comp running, best d/l 42.8 KBs

..i'm upgrading from 128 to 2*256 for multi tasking reasons, currently if it can be tweaked or done without i am, but only a minor increase

..question, how do i get more of the 100Mbs i'm paying for ?..
