Index Dat Files (followup)

Will CrapCleaner or any other Index Dat File cleaner interfere with any other programs that i have on my computer, i am running Nortons Internet Security and Windows Defender. Thanks In advance.

 

It is better to follow up in the original thread you started. It makes it easier for others to search and learn who may have similar questions. Or for those who have replied to your original thread, they will now not know you have asked another question about advice they have given.

I have never heard of Ccleaner interfering with other programs.

 

CCleaner won't interfere with other programs. If you alter it's defaults, it can save or delete History, etc., but that all depends on how you set up ther defaults.

As for Index.dat, most programs won't delete them at the time, but will flag them for deletion as you boot up next time. Bazza
