Time zone difference between Australia and India means that the matches are on late at night (some very late) here on the East Coast of Australia. Anyone note that pathetically prepared pitch, and the light tower blackout, last night. :D Bazza

Obviously you are not a cricket fan. :D No it is open to the best cricketers all around the cricketing world. Aussies, New Zealanders, Sth Africans, Pakistanis, Sri-Lankans, etc. No too many Pommies (if any) that I can remember.

Catch your sports news tonight for highlights of Gilly's (Gilchrist) innings. Fastest 100 of 42 balls, in this tournament. Bazza

Indian Premier League is too hard to follow. I`m a proud Aussie, and ll the Aussie players are split up and I don`t know who to go for. International 20/20 Cricket (e.g Australia vs India) is so much more enjoyable to watch, rather than barracking for a province in India, your backing a team where all the players come from your own country.

I watch it occasionally (usually too late at night--in the early morning actually) to see how the Aussies are performing. Most went well except for $1,000,000 Ponting. He as a flop. Retired Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath have still got "it". McGrath with 4 wickets in one match is the best so far.

As most Aussies and Kiwis have gone back home, for forthcoming matches or training sessions, a lot of my interest has gone too. Bazza
