Infared

    Everytime I reboot or turn my computer back on, I keep getting a message, new hardware found. I click on it and and it says something about infared and can't download the software for it. I have no idea what it is? LOL
    Any suggestions? My WD external hard drive isn't working, but it's not even connected and I STILL get that message.

    Hi Bob,

    If you have no infrared devices, that's the same as TV remote control using infrared invisible light, go into your BIOS setup, look for mention of Infrared and disable it.
