Information Recovery

    I reformatted my hard drive and re-loaded windows. I had a bunch of pictures on there that I forgot to back up, Is there any way or any software that will help me get them back or are they gone?

    to tell you, but reformatting totally wipes everything from your hard drive. it could be possible to get a professional service to try and get the pictures for you. but it would cost you approx 4-5,000 dollars to make that happen. sorry

    seriously? wow. you learn something new everyday. can it even be recovered from a system that windwos has been re installed on?

    MG has this listed for data recovery. Looks like maybe it's what you're looking for. It's shareware -- sort of. It will only recover four directories then you have to pay.
