  1. Does anyone know of any ingame web browser where you can browse ingame but it doesn't use ALOT of the game's resources so you can play and surf at the same time? I don't want to alt+tab...or do you guys know of a standalone ingame web browser? THANKS much if you do!

    Hi

Most modern browsers should be ok, it really depends on your PCs resources as if you have decient CPU and 6GB or more ram then you will be ok with running both, if not then no browser is really going to help that I can think of...

I would advise maybe looming at other background tasks or startups your PC is running that are not really needed like updaters for pintersm adobe, java etc and also messenging apps like Live Messenger, skype, google etc and delete them from startup.

But we would also like to know what Windows version and Service Pack are you using?

What are your PC specs or the make and model of your PC?

I think PlayXpert is exactly what you are looking for. Download: http://www.playxpert.com/download/PXP_client_2834.exe

There seems to be another similar piece of software called "GotGame Rouge", but I can't seem to find an active homepage. Xfire and Steam also offer ingame web browsers, but I haven't heard much about them.

Overall, if your computer already runs a certain videogame without using 100% of the computer's resources, you should be able to run an ingame browser like PlayXpert without slowing down the framerate. But, if the game stutters occasionally or runs slow already, an ingame browser might slow down your game to unplayable framerates.

Currently I use STEAM. It's got a good web browser.

You can also go for XFIRE.

    Enjoy :major

EVE Online's in game browser is super light but the problem is it's exlcusive to EVE. Honestly, if all your going to do is search game related sites and stay away from porn and suspect sites then all you need is Internet Explorer.
