   Specs: Windows XP / WinDVD
   
   When I Insert a DVD movie into the disc drive it plays the movie straight away. I know there is a setting to change this but I can't remember how to do it. Where do I go to to make it not do this?

   Easy way: Hold down the shift key when inserting the DVD.
   Harder way, turn off autorun completely.
   1.Start/Run type in regedit
   2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SYSTEM>CurrentControlSet>Services>CdromDouble 3. Click "Autorun" the value is set to 1 by default, change it to zero
   4. Click ok and reboot
