insignia reciever volume problem

    i have a Insignia IS-HC040918 and ill be sitting here watching something when all of a sudden the volume just goes to the max for no reason. i already know that its not some signal getting to the reciever because there are no transmitters that are active when it does it. anyone got any ideas why?
