inspiron 2500 cmos battery type.

    i got a used inspiron 2500 off ebay and the cmos battery is dead,I want to replace it.It is a button soldered to the under side of the motherboard.I think it is a 3.3volt lithium.But i don't know for shure.I can't find the info from dell.If anyone knows what the battery is for sure it would really help.

    Had a search this morning and havn't forund any info on a CMOS/Bios battery for the Inspiron 2500, but this is one place that has alot of batteries and maybe worth giving then or Dell and email and ask what voltage and type of battery is needed?

    Thanks for the help i found out the battery is a PANASONIC VL1220-1HF 3 VOLT LITHIUM RECHARGEABLE
