install error

What can one do when getting the error message,

"Component: AAA_System32
File:
Error: Cannot create a file when that file already exists.",

while installing a program?

 

Sorry, I have windows vista sp1,

yes I was logged into Windows with a User Account with full Administrator permission,

the program was the demo version of Multimedia's T-racks 3 but i tried installing it using some program someone recommended me called Sandboxie,
and something went wrong I guess, maybe a file got copied somewhere and I don't know how to get to it. I wish I hadn't used this Sandboxie program.

I uninstalled the T-racks program inside the Sandbox program but when I try to install without the Sandbox program I get this error.

I tried what you suggested but it didn't work.

get rid of that ish

click start goto run and type msconfig and hit enter

look for that program in the start up folder and uncheck it from starting up each time your PC boots then delete it after you reboot

your best bet is to FORMAT C: just format everything and build a brand new flawless OS offline, then use nortons ghost to back it up as a image, so anytime you think your pc is ****ed you can easily fix itwithout having to reinstall a bunch of crap
