Ok What I am trying to do is install all of the network prints that we have here without having to go through and install them manualy everytime we get a new computer.

I want to just run a script that will install the printer driver and create the printer port. I have looked on microsofts website and it had a few ideas but it is not what I was looking for. I need an all in one package.
Microsoft just had how to install the driver or create the port...
any help on this or ideas about how to do this would be great

    Thanks in advance :)

Add the following to your log on script:

    NET USE [LPTx:] \\ComputerName\printer_share /PERSISTENT:YES

or with a "long" share name

    NET USE [LPTx:] "\\ComputerName\printer_share"

This requires the printers to be defined on a print server.
