I have my 2 computers networked. Main computer operates w/Windows XP linked to Windows 98 2nd Edition. Question: Can I take the XP Pro installation disk & install it as an upgrade to the Windows 98 2nd edition machine?

Well, technically, no, not without violating the licensing agreement-- one copy, one machine, ya know. Being networked is not a factor. If you're asking if you can upgrade to WinXP from Win98SE, the answer is yes.
