Install Windows xp Home Edition On A Media Center Pc

    I've got a hp media center 2005 pc (Model# 1619h) but i want to install my old copy of windows xp home edtion how do i disable away mode in my bios (my bios is an ami and i've looked in it but couldn't find away mode) is it safe to install xp home edition and not disable away mode even though xp home edition doesn't have drivers for it?:eek:

    Why would you want a lesser version of XP?

    confused

    Its XP Pro w/ the ability to join domains disabled and extra media features. I don't see you getting anything extra from XP Home.
