My college requires a program from Cisco called VPN to access the internet on campus. However when I was installing the program in locked up. So I attempted after a restart, to reinstall. Upon reinstalling the program the install program finds another version and says that in order to continue it will uninstall the old version so that is may replace it with the new. After a dos screen pops up briefly you are prompted to restart... After restart it attempts to continue installation but again detects another version.... Rinse and repeat. I tried deleting the root file and removing all traces of the program... and start a fresh install. Apperently though I am not getting it all because it happens again....

Frankly at this point i want it off my system as evertime my system reboots it reminds me that an old version is there....

Any ideas? It is not listed in the add and remove program list either .. >.<

    Thanks much

    Hottness..

I had to go into my services and disable the autimatic start for the Cisco installation to remove the file from its 'last attempt' but i was able to succesfully install the program after running the windows installer clean up uttility.

    thanks much!
