installed keyboard now no sound?

hi,

ive just installed a wireless keyboard and mouse (2 in 1 set)

now i dont have any sound at all

the volume is up,
not mute, check the volume settings/levels all max
speaks on,

dad has the same problem

so its definatly the keyboard n mouse for some odd reason


any ideas or help?

Have you tried updating the drivers for the keyboard and mouse.

If you tell us what kind of keyboard/ mouse you have, it would probably help.

thats were i bought it from, the same one.

 

Ok, try this:

1. right-click My Computer-> Properties -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager
2. Find your new keyboard and double-click it to bring up the properties panel
3. In the drivers tab, click update driver.
4. Follow the same steps for your mouse.

Let me know if this fixes your problem.

 

no better drivers found.


then i uninstalled the software & drivers. and the keyboard still works but still no sound confused

but it must be something to do with either the settings or drivers rolleyes



its just like the speaks plug is pulled out, plays but no sound.

ive checked the hardware at least 20 times its all fine, nothing been moved all 100% ok
