Hi Guys, while I am waiting for my new rig to come via UPS ( 2 weeks )
I went out and bought another 2 gig DDR2 for my desktop.

The problem is my mobo is running the 4 gigs at 337.mhz or something like that and someone said I could overclock it safely just by changing a bios setting, since I don't know much about that stuff I wanted some advice to try and get some more performance out of this machine in the meantime.

I will provide some info here.

    Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 @ 2.40ghz

    ASUSTeK P5G41-M LX2/GB

    DDR2 4096 Mb's
    332.5 MHz
    Command Rate : 2t
    5-5-5-15-44 ( clocks )

    Nvidia GTX 550ti

If anyone can give me some info on how I can increase the memory speed, I am trying t oget a little more FPS in CS:GO atm, I am boucning from 80-120 fps in CS:go atm. On low gfx settings.

IMHO, overclocking the memory, won't really help, if you just play games only. If you do a lot of simulation theory, problematical math, perhaps that would help, but eh, not worth it.

Nice new thing with sql 2012 r2, is that you can take a database and put that into memory. THEN, that would be a benefit.
