installer help

    i'm updating my software for my ati video card. i succesfully completed the graphics software update but my computer continues to stall out trying to update the multimedia center. it goes through and opens everything and about 3/4 of the way through the install, it pops up an error citing the windows installer and something to do with 'msi.chm'... retried the install a couple of times and get the same results.

    pretty lost about all this and any help would be appreciated.. thanks
