installer

someone plz. help me figure out how to get my cd burner/ dvd burners to work. has a yellow exclamation mark in front of them and when i try to install software for them my installer says its not installed properly or somtheing

We really more info here.... what version of Windows are you using? What happened before the CD/DVD drives stopped working? Have you gone in to the device manager and uninstalled them and rebooted? You can also try using the step listed in this guide . It's usually for CD/DVD drives that aren't listed in My Computer, but it might work for you. You can also try re-installing your chipset drivers; download them from your PC/motherboard maker's web site.
