  1. Hey I have a laptop and a friend of mine totally stuffed it, anyways my grandad has got it to the stage where it is ready to put windows on, im going to put windows 98 on it but the only thing is that i have to put it on using the floppy drive.. i have a cd player but it is external and its not picking it up, i was told to make the floppys a bit bigger so i can put 98 on it, i was just wondering how you do it, i was told but i forgot...

I do it with cab files, I load the Win98SE folder onto the hard disk (200 Meg worth of files) and then run setup. 200Meg is a lot of data to use with floppies, so I suspect there is another way (by my count that is 139 disks). I'll be interest in the answer to that one.

  3. It's possible.. my grandad told me what to do.. its actually 95, i thought it was 98. There is about 30 floppys, i have them but they dont all work, thats why i am going to make new ones, ill ring my grandad tonight and i will find out n e ways..
