    Hi,

I have an IBM Think Center M50 computer with Windows XP Pro. The C:drive is small, only 34 GB. Is there a way for me to install a larger C: drive, say 160 GB, move the operating system from the smaller drive and install it on the new, larger drive such that Microsoft updates will recognize the new drive and operating system (so that I can get Microsoft updates)? Thank you.

Why don'y you install the larger drive and just move your personal files over to the new drive and leave the OS where it is? That is exactly what I once did and my OS is only on a 20Gb HD.

Thanks, Yargwel. Your suggestion would make the process so much easier. I will give it a try.
