Ok so here is the deal...

I want to take an IDE HD that has windows xp already installed on it, and put it on my comp which has a SATA HD with Windows Vista on it.

Both os are 32 bit, pc. The HD with xp is in a pc from 1999. The HD with Vista is in a pc from 2007.

I don't know what other type of info you might need, but just ask if you need more.

I'd like to know if this is even possible...and if so, how feasible as far as the HD and the OS already in it interacting with the rest of the new computer is going into.

    Ty!

This will not be possible as the XP installation will have different drivers on it than the Vista installation. If you want XP on the computer, you will have to do a clean installation.
