Installing Ms Office On Multiple Pcs

I have a version of MS Office where the licence limits its installation onto 3 PCs. One of those PCs is now thrown away and I have a new PC. I anticipate problems installing MS Office on my new PC because presumably it will be able to tell if this is a fourth installation so MS can protect their licence. What problems should I anticipate and how can I resolve them? MS Office will still only be installed on 3 PCs in accordance with the licence.

 

You will need to telephone Microsoft. No idea where you are but from the UK it's 0844 41 45 387. If not UK you can search for the number.

 

Open any MS Office utility - go to 'Help > About MS Office.... > View EULA'. It will tell you in the EULA how many systems.

 

I'm pretty sure the OP is UK based - that number wont work here.

 

I am unable to do this. When I open an MS Office utility and click on help I receive the following message:

I do believe the EULA limits it to being installed on 3 PCs. I have some minor issues with MS Office on one of my PCs. I started a thread on that issue some time ago and gave full details of my MS Office version. A Majorgeeks member who replied told me the EULA for my MS Office version limits its installation on to three machines. We were unable to resolve the problems because the PC on which the problems occur was only the third one on which it had been installed. This is why I said in my OP that I know it is limited to being installed on 3 PCs.

From the other answers I have received it would appear I am going to have to ring Microsoft.
