We've built PC's from scratch before, but this is the first time we've installed a new MB & CPU using a current HD. Does anyone foresee any problems with this installation or have any tips? Will we be able to find drivers anywhere? Does Geeks offer any software, etc...that might help us before we attempt this?

Thanks in advance! Geeks are too cool:cool!!!

The new motherboard should have a driver cd with it, if not go to their website and download the drivers, you more than likely will have to start from scratch on the OS. ed

Yes it came with driver cd, Was hopeing that I didn't have to mess with OS,
Does this mean that I'm going lose all that is on the HD. And have to reload all the programs :cry. Going to start tomorrow. Will be happy to hear any other advice. Thanks in Advance

Windows knows what chipset, hardware that it was using before, now when you change it with the new mb, it says ok, start over. Maybe you should burn down your data in the old pc before you change everything. Yes , you will need to reinstall eveything. ed
