Hi Geeks! A quick software question here: If I install a new full version of Microsoft Office 2007 onto a PC that also has Office 2000 installed on it, can I keep Office 2000 or will 2007 want to "remove" prior installations? I have some Word Documents saved in 2000 that I want to still be able to access.

Thanks in advance for any tips!

    Geeks are :cool!!!

    Hi

You can install both Office 2000 and 2007, however you can only have one version of Outlook installed at once.

Office 2007 will open Office 2000 documents fine, and you can save ( Save As ) them back in office 95-XP format so older office versions can open docs made in office 2007.

If installing multiple versions, you need to have oldest installed first i.e.

    Office 95
    Office 2000
    Office XP
    Office 2003
    Office 2007
