Installing other softweres with windows installation.

Hi everyone, a few days ago a friend of mine given me a DVD of windows XP-3 and told that he made it for his personal use. When I install it I notice all icons,boot skin,logon,themes have been modified most of all after installation of windows but before restart a message box pop-ups and its heading was like Bonus Pack from Apu. Below list of programs which install automatically. But he refused to tel me anything about it so plz someone out here help me and tel me how it happens. All your nice guidance will be appreciable.

Sounds as if you're friend make a custom installation disk, which is not uncommon - many do this to include drivers, patches, tweaks, etc., so that they're readily available...do a Google for 'custom installation disk' and you'll find several tutorials...

Be advised: 1. You don't know what software he included on that DVD... and 2. Windows DRM may give you some grief with activation...
